Woodland Heritage

Woodland Heritage has been formed by a group of British traditional furniture makers whose aims are to improve the way in which trees (particularly broadleaf) are grown, maintained and harvested in these islands. Campaigning and taking active steps to dramatically increase our forest cover.

Woodland Heritage supports the purpose of multi-purpose forestry and recognises that the production of quality timber should remain at the core of any management system.

We recognised that it is young trees, while they are vigorously growing, which convert carbon dioxide to oxygen and are effectively “the lungs of the earth”. Bradley Furniture is a founder member of Woodland Heritage.
